Shit never thought about that. That's a good idea. Then no hard feelings for any swaps too. You both email each other the reservation and it's up to your own self to redo it. Then if you miss and one succeeds. Less anger cause you can only blame yourself.
Yesterday, I was offered a March registration appointment. I asked for, and they forwarded to me, the notification email from HPD Records and Identification Section.
I waited until the reservation snipers were asleep, then did the "Reservation 2-Step" -- Clicked the "Change/Cancel Appointment" link from the email & canceled, then remade the reservation for myself. I had a second browser window open to the correct search so I could quickly find and select it.
So, after completing my reservation, the original reservation holder should receive an email saying it was canceled, while I received a notification email for the new reservation.
This is a good method for swapping or just giving a reservation between 2 people. Seems to eliminate a lot of coordination and risk of the appointment being sniped out from under you.
