I just acquired a new-ish Ruger SP101. It fits nicely in the pocket, and I have 5 rounds of .38 Spl to take down a threat or, if need be, fight my way to a Glock 19 with 50 rounds of 9mm ready in mags.

I was actually thinking about a Ruger LCR as a 'garden gun' that I can wear while messing around in the yard with boardshorts and a tshirt. Anyone seen it in a shop around here?

Pretty sure I saw one at security equipment but that was about a month ago or so.

X ring has one with the laser attached.

There's a used one at SEC, I don't know if it had the laser or not.  I saw it in the consignment case yesterday.  They've also got the S & W Bodyguard .380 and I think the Ruger 9mm pocket gun as well.

I went to Walmart and got the most sturdy semi-dress belt I could find...works great!

Is it the one that kinda looks like the ares ranger belt but it's leather overlaid and sewn into thick nylon?

It's pretty sturdy and holds all my Safariland OWB paddle holsters just fine.

That guy on the video is pretty good and has a sensa yuma.  At the end as he went off-camera, I half expected to hear an "Oops, almost forgot," and then re-appear to pick up the gun on the desk.

I don't actually carry at home, but there's always a gun in easy reach in my small apartment.  I also bought a couple of ten inch kitchen knives at the dollar store and I have a few of them squirreled away around the place.  I do slip a gun in my robe pocket when I take out the trash, which is usually around 4:00AM, and carry a flashlight on a neck lanyard when I do.  Not necessarily for two-legged predators, but for four-legged ones as well.  I sweep it around looking for paired bright little dots in the night.

So call me paranoid, but the guy's vid is 100% right on, and paranoia, to me, is a survival trait. ;D

I don't exactly strap one on my hip as soon as I'm home, but usually I'll have one within arms reach once I'm settled in.  I'm single, and live alone, so it's no biggy for me.  I live in a secured apt building, so I'm may be overstretching even then, but what can I say... its like a security blanket.
