Obama put Biden in charge of the panel to come up with ways to prevent future Sandy Hook type shootings.

After a few hearings and no real public input, the results were totally dismal.

He's the reason Obama said in an end-of-term interview that his one regret is that he didn't do as much to create more "common sense" gun control as he wanted.

The only thing Biden can propose now is a "solution" that was tried for 10 years and which had no measurable effect on crime, good or bad.

If he actually does win, Biden will be the first Lame Duck President to be inaugurated.  He's done nothing in his 50 years in government except make himself, his family, and his donors richer.

I keep thinking of that video when the auto worker asked Biden if he becomes president will he take away his (auto worker talking) guns.

All throughout Obama's AND BIDEN'S 8 year administration, Obama repeatedly said the Legislature needed to come up with immigration reform, specifically to address the dependents of illegals who have lived their whole lives in the US but were not old enough to make that choice at the time.  After saying over and over that the Executive Office did not have the power to create law, he signed the XO anyway enacting DACA.  His stated purpose was to give Congress a nudge in that direction so they can finally do their jobs and pass reform bills.  Didn't happen, so his ILLEGAL and UNCONSTITUTIONAL Executive Order stood until Trump canceled it.

Biden may not have the right to legally ban Assault Weapons on his own (though he could effectively do so via ATF rules), however his mentor taught him the Constitution is of no concern when you really, really want to do something, and Congress is unwilling to assist.

The president could not make an executive order that makes laws out of thin air. You can't compare making a law to refrain from enforcing a law.

Take marijuana as an example. Trump could write an executive order telling federal agencies to not enforce marijuana laws. However if marijuana were completely legal, Trump couldn't write an executive order and make it suddenly illegal.

Read the original post. It claimed Biden is going to take your guns by executive order. That is what I responded to, that is the inaccurate claim I am correcting.
