Permit/Reg Appt during shutdown

Does anyone know if they still ran permits and reg during the shutdown last time?  They’re essential so I assumed so since LGS were deemed essential!  Asking for ALL MY FRIENDS!  Haha

Yes, they were.
No one is coming, it’s up to us.

Legislation should never be about depriving law abiding citizens of something, but rather taking those things away from criminals.

Has anyone tried to pick up their permits early?  Before the 2 weeks?  Not first timer, just renewed.

The law requires a 2 week wait between application and permit pick up.  Can't get it any earlier unless you are listed in the exceptions, like an FFL firearms dealer or Cop.

Quote
(e)  The permit application form shall be signed by the applicant and by the issuing authority.  One copy of the permit shall be retained
by the issuing authority as a permanent official record.  Except for sales to dealers licensed under section 134-31, or dealers licensed
by the United States Department of Justice, or law enforcement officers, or where a license is granted under section 134-9, or where
any firearm is registered pursuant to section 134-3(a), no permit shall be issued to an applicant earlier than fourteen calendar days
after the date of the application
