Since this is in GD, that trigger is such a steam punk contraption. $400!!!. A Knights or Milazzo trigger is not that much.
So when you press the trigger does it output a 1 or 0 and when release 1 or 0?

If the trigger fires on pull and release, that's 11, not 00.

Firing on "Pull & release"  == illegal.

The trigger has been sold. No, it is not illegal. The company has approval from the atf. There are two functions of the trigger when you pull and release. Some state laws prohibit it, but Hawaii does not

The ATF letter simply gives an opinion that the Echo does not create a "machine gun."

If state law prohibits binary triggers, that's aside from any ATF opinion.

As I posted already, Hawaii law is as vague as usual, but it does prohibit "a device that fires multiple shots with the pull and release of the trigger".

Pull --> fire &  Release --> fire.

Should research who you sold it too very well before it changes hands.  Could save you a couple years of agony.  I don't like the Hawaii law and I think it should be legal.  The ATF letter does not apply to the Hawaii law.

Thank you all for the concerns. It has not exchanged hands, and more research will be done on my part. I hate how this state harasses law abiding gun owners.

This is a risky topic to post in public.  OP, you have probably attracted attention you don't want.  I would turn in that device and let it go and not exchange hands with someone else that you could put in legal jeopardy or find out the hard way that the buyer is an undercover.

Its only illegal if you have it in your firearm otherwise its a part they can not be regulated, No serial number just like the oil filters, magazines or 80%

No, im just new to 2aHawaii and tapatalk. I made a fat mistake listing it in GD, at least I know i made a mistake now. Hopefully police dont try to intentionally set anyone up, especially in tough financial times like now. Thank you all for the responses. I didnt know Hawaii had such a strong 2A backing
