Yup, that would be another example. A tough one for me is when hackers get ransomware on a hospital computer system. Pay the ransom or let the patients suffer?

I wouldn't necessarily say emotional. Could be emotional but also could also just be a different way people prioritize things or reason through a problem.

Yeah, it's difficult to believe that Bicep Guy ran up on Rittenhouse, saw the rifle pointing in his direction, raised his hands and stopped for a second, then continued advancing with his gun in hand pointing toward Rittenhouse, all because he was trying to "help."  At no time did he ask if Rittenhouse needed help, or even try to get the attackers to stop.  He was armed and could have easily been able to join Rittenhouse in stopping the attacks.

At one point, he lied to investigators saying he told the skateboard guy to quit hitting Rittenhouse with the board.  He must have said it in his mind, because the evidence contradicted him.  In fact, the evidence contradicted him so much, I find it hard to believe half of what he claims to remember.

The defense did get a good "jab" in, when they said, "It's striking that you claim the trauma, the surgery and the pain meds caused you to not remember having the gun on you in your statement to police, yet you were able to give accurate details of every other part of your actions that night.  Interesting that the only fact that you couldn't seem to remember was that you were armed."

I figured he would go with this defense. Whether true or not it is the one that paints him in the best possible light. He apparently didn't do the best job presenting it though

Lead Prosecutor Binger has been (IMO) far from flawless in his presentation of his case against Rittenhouse.  He's pushed the envelope of plausible and often crossed the line into lying, telling narratives that the video evidence and HIS OWN STAR WITNESS contradicted.

He deserves to have his ass handed to him by the judge, and I'd have to say Judge Schroeder has been very good throughout the trial.  If I'm ever on trial for murder, I want someone like him to preside.

The defense team has a diplomat and an attack dog.  Great combination.  The attack dog gets his objections on the record passionately and forcefully, while the softer-spoken diplomat gets the judge and jury to listen to his presentations without coming across as abrasive or arrogant.

If the jury finds him guilty, I think the prosecution committed enough fumbles he'll have a dozen or more issues to use as grounds for an appeal.

If the jury convicts on the shooting, excluding whatever they decide on the other charges like being underage carrying a firearm and so on, the defense will likely make a motion for a directed verdict.  In that case, the judge can decide if the jury convicted based on, or in spite of, the law.  If he thinks the jury ignored the law, he can set their verdict aside and issue a directed verdict.

We'll see.  That scenario is very possible, given the threats made to the jury and the community if Rittenhouse is not convicted.

I agree.  Though the weapons charges are legit.  Everything else was self defense.

So prosecution asked if he plays call of duty. So this sums up that if u were to be made an example of, they will use everything under the sun to make u look like a murderer.
