Vanishing posts
« on: March 18, 2010, 07:02:19 PM »
It's happened to me 4 times now.  I see a thread, type up a reply, click "Submit," wait for the page to update, then move on.  When I come back later in the day or the next day, my post isn't there.  For example, I should have had the 2nd post in the current discussion about concealed carry permits.  I'm not getting messages from the moderator, so I don;t think that's it.  This happening to anyone else?

I had a couple problems but only using Chrome. When I post my post, there is an error message that the forum doesn't exist or something to that effect. I just sometimes have a problem with cookies in Chrome and experience some problems on other sites as well. Do you get any messages after you make the post?

I did make some changes recently where it should take you back into the topic and show your post after you post it. At least I am hoping it changed.

I also haven't removed any posts from anyone, so you weren't moderated.

No, I never got any messages.  And, at least on the occasion of that latest incident with the CCW post, it DID take me back to the post.  I'm usually on Firefox when I visit here.

Then again, I suppose 4 out of 141 isn't that bad a ratio!
