I do not recall....................
I have no remembrance..............
He answered specific questions with, "I don't agree with your preamble, but" and "Not to my recollection," then answered in general.
He answered general questions with specific, narrow responses. (paraphrased)
Q: "Do you think the FBI director should have known about the exculpatory information we now know was withheld from the FISA court?"
A: "I didn't know about that information, obviously."
I made it through all 4 hours (20 minute break at the midpoint).

The Democrat committee members used their time for the most part to (1) whine about how they should be using the hearing for "other things", (2) what Trump said in the debate about White supremacists, and (3) how Trump's debts are a national security concern. Then they kept inferring how the GOP side is somehow not focusing on Russian election interference, when every single one of them SPECIFICALLY STATED the exact opposite -- it was a problem in 2016, and its an ongoing problem in 2020.
GOP actually asked specific questions and asked for explanations regarding how any of the failures listed in the IG report and the recently released documents could have happened under his watch.
Comey dodged and deflected most of it. He took responsibility the same way Clinton took responsibility for Benghazi. Said he was responsible by virtue of his position, but he was not involved in the actual failures (even though he certified to the FISA court that the information in the warrant application was verified).
As Lindsey Graham said in closing, "There's more to come. Stay tuned."

My question would have been, "As the FBI director before being fired, did you take any action to ascertain how the investigations under your direction had turned up nothing other than ancillary crimes and perjury charges?" In other words, if you're hunting bear in a certain forest because you have evidence (several people told you) that was bear country, and all you got was a half dozen rabbits, would you not want to find out why you didn't come across one single bear in "bear country?"
Comey kept going back to how the IG report saying there was adequate evidence to predicate an investigation into Carter Page. Yet, he never offers an explanation as to why that investigation was not stopped after information to the contrary was uncovered. Same for Flynn.
