Suspected Triggerman in Shooting of Two Deputies Faces Charges

Quote
The man in custody in the attempted killing of two Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies was taken
into custody after a suspected carjacking. Eric Leonard reports for the NBC4 News on Wednesday,

A pistol was recovered after the suspect tossed it out of a moving vehicle during a police persuit.

The pistol was a .40 caliber and was built using an 80% frame -- a "Ghost Gun".  The firearm matches the one used to shoot the two deputies.

The magazine contained 8 rounds when recovered, which is 5 shy of its capacity.  The person who shot the deputies fired 5 rounds.

Glad they got him.  I read that these gang members are smart enough to get rid of a gun used in a shooting.  You never want to get caught with it during a pat down, only to have it come back from ballistics with a body or two "on it."

Thank goodness for stupid criminals.

I bet he's glad now that both deputies survived.

the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.
