Gunman holds workers at gunpoint, ransacks safe at Kapolei fast food eatery - Police are on the hunt for a a gunman who forced his way into the McDonald’s at Kapolei Shopping Center early Monday and got away with everything in the safe.

Good thing nobody had a firearm to defend themselves with.

But seriously, have noted (at least from what trusted sources have been conveying to me) an uptick on break-ins, robbery, etc.  Seems like folks are getting a LOT more brazen.  There was a break-in in one of the parking garages in my building late last weekend.  Lots of cameras, very limited entry/exit and recently installed security features.  Yikes.

Most safes are time locked. They can add money but can't open the safe until a certain time like after hours when the doors are locked. Likely an inside job...
