CARES money for firearms section HPD

Most of the whole process could be done ONLINE. There is one reason and one reason only that they make this process so cumbersome and expensive,  TO DISCOURAGE LAW ABIDING CITIZENS FROM EXERCISING THEIR RIGHTS, under the Constitution of the United States and Hawaii. Criminals don't apply for permits for firearms.

Federal Bailout Money Is Speeding Up Gun Permits

My personal favorite Hawaii CARES expenditure is
August 31, 2020   HPD   POINT BLANK ENTERPRISES, INC   Exterior soft-body armor vest carriers, with equip pouches   $47,500
Maybe COVID-19 is deflected off of these vest's,

instead of using the CARES act money, they could've used money on a trade in from all those HPD service pistols instead of throwing them in the trash
if they even did dispose of them bc where's the proof that they destroyed them?

I agree.  They want to discourage gun ownership.  Also it will feed the anti-gun public more as far as painting a negative picture of the gun community.  Especially when it was noted more money went to HPD for "improving the gun registration process" than for helping those who are having a hard time with rent, food, and bills.

It's like HPD is doing this on purpose.  Hell, the gun community wants the whole process eliminated.  It's just pure bullshit.  We didn't ask for CARES money to improve it.  You can improve it by just eliminating all the bullshit.

This is one of the few conspiracies I can get behind.   This is exactly what they are doing.
