Whoo boy.  Anticipation.  It seems the days to Nov. 3 is taking forever.  Each day seems like a month.  Meanwhile we get bombarded with tons of news.  Polls.  And bullshit.

So I figured go watch a movie, whatever is on right now.  I surf the channels then get stuck on "Purge-Presidential Election". 

Damn.  I thought I was watching the riots that were on the news lately.

Anyway, how are you guys dealing with this "Anticipation?"  I might go to the range today........

After spending delightful time on this forum beating up on a few Millennials, trolls and/or HPD disrupters, I go feed the cat that set up house in my backyard with her 3 kittens (all black .... very Halloween!), watch scary movies, and do some woodworking.  Current project is a 3-tier potted plant stand for my daughter.  I'm at the final assembly and polyurethane stage.  I'll post a picture when it's all done.

I watch a lot of YouTube now.  Mostly short segments on the election, other news, woodworking, music videos, and an occasional movie.  I'm surprised at the number of full length movies you can find there, often titles you can't find for free on other services.

Today I'll go out when the sun isn't so high and do some yard work.  The rain these last few days are causing the grass and plants to grow again.  Been really dry up until last week.

I am looking forward with eager anticipation to watching Tua’s first NFL start on Sunday.

Yeah, I probably will end up cleaning the yard.  Whenever it rains significantly all the weeds pop up.  And while I'm at it I guess I'll prepare some garden beds for fall crops like pak choy, radishes, and daikon.

I wish I was skilled enough to build something.  I suck at woodworking, lol!

Aaaaghh...  forgot to mention that I did end up going to the range today.  Nice day.  There were a lot of shooters there.  I went about 2 pm and had to wait about 15 minutes.  After that about half the shooters called it a day.

I shot 3 sessions and then quit to pick up wifey at work.  I was able to zero my new rifle.

Today and tomorrow will seem like forever before election day.  Meanwhile the bombardment of poll results, anaylsis, and opinions continue to dominate the airwaves and internet.

And Tuesday will seem like that D-Day movie titled "The longest Day."

Back from a weekend unplugged, well mostly.  There were maybe 3 or so spots where my phone had reception, so I "couldn't" get calls or texts for work.  Haha.  A few texts came in, but my coworkers handled the issues by the time I saw them.  Catch up time today though, but it's well worth the time off this past weekend spent out away from the city, work, etc.

I quit Costco as it is over an hours drive away, but I re-inventoried my stash.
I'm good for the next six months, easy.
My Tenant just completed his pistol class. He had his record expunged
a while back. It is really painful to watch what people have to go through.
I'm getting him set up for a M1911A1.

I was doing a lot of work Kona side in the 2004-2010 timeframe.  Ranged from those warehouses where Mrs Barry's is (can't think of the subdivision now), to resorts, to residential developments.  The one that I recall was Keauhou where seems like a group of hippies from the mainland invested in the land, had maybe 5-7 luxury homes on the top of the hill for them, and the rest of the units were for sale.  Many of them were out on the site for inspections when I've have my walk throughs maybe 1-2 times per week.  Nice people, but the way that they talked to and about each other was very strange.  Almost like a cult thing.

In the years I have lived here, not really much interaction with anyone other than a few firearm owners.   Did have one rabid liberal at the gym that would go ballistic if one of the TV's was on Fox.

Saw some angry older white woman driving a car with several bumper stickers, one of which was "NOT a Republican"  Now, what sort of person feels the need for that in a predominately democrat state?

Another car with the typical angry old haole guy had "Fighting democrat.  I do not reach across the aisle"

See the usual sprinkling of "Fox is bad news America, tune it out"  A lot of very angry old white people here, maybe some of those hippies you ran into.

My council critter is/was the Treasurer of the county Democrat party.
Thankfull she is term limited.
Most BI government critters are DINO's.
