I'm betting they would let us keep some of those there if we were donating them to the range or something.  Not sure.

I'll be there for medical, and should be able to stay for the free shoot as well. Thanks for everyone looking out for each other, no safety issues even with that huge turnout!

just a heads up to those who had gear issues (mags falling due to running and etc) skdtac.com has a sale right now 13% off and they have hsgi tacos.  shipping is $5 even to hawaii. just ordered some items.  hsgi tacos are no joke. prolly the best.  it pays to have good gear.

Yeah. If you have gear questions, please let me know! There are lots of good vendors, good custom makers.  If you are unsure I would be happy to help people find stuff.

SKD Tactical will have cheaper prices tomorrow too btw! (Cyber monday).

Holsters - I enjoy G-Code with the RTI mount.  Raven concealment makes some great kydex stuff.  Safariland isn't bad either if you going to have  WML on your pistol etc.  There are quite a few vendors, many of them have different styles and different products so it depends what we are really talking about.   I'm not a fan of leather holsters, but leather does seem to feel good on the body.

The other thing that I know most people need is a sling.  For that, I like the Husky Amentum, VTAC, or any other similarly functioning sling.  I think Lifer had one from a guy and it looked really well made with similar features.  You want one that you can adjust quickly (some sort of slider). I prefer two point since you can do a lot with it for bracing / shooting.  Single point is good if you are going to be moving a lot.  For me though, I think that I am too short for a single point.  No shit the rifle is knocking me int he shins and shit.

The entire complex is down for maintenance until 1/29.  I gotta wait until feb's range day to see all macsack's Christmas toys!   :( >:(

Sorry Mac, I'll be on Maui that day.  Hope the range work goes as planned and the range opens on time.
