When 99% of people say 1+1 =2  and 1% say 1+1 = windows.  What do you hold to be fact?   Science is based on consensus, many people reaching the same result.  Its never 100%. But to throw away that because a few says otherwise with no solid evidence is foolish.  If covid really is no worse than the flu,  then those 1% of  scientists should make all their info public, convince the other 98% of people and overturn the current conclusion.

The example you give is in a time there was far less consensus amongst scientists and not a valid argument.  Without current information sharing, experimentation and documentation there was no way to accurately map science and facts.  We gained most of that during our information modernization in the modern era.  Facts are now checked by millions of people world wide with computer modeling,  experience,  and experiments and data.

It does seem a little light on gun talk.

How many of those people were on ventilators? How many were hospitalized? How many had symptoms, and if so, how severe? What were their ages? How many had which comorbidities? How were they determined to have CoVid-19? If they got a positive test result from an RT-PCR test, how many cycles/amplifications was run on their test? (Fauci said anything above 34 is likely invalid positive and most testing seems to be in the range of 40).

I've asked these questions of the DOH, the mayor, and civil defense re all cases in the county/state, and they won't even respond to my questions. Just curious if you know for your circle of people. Probably not for the PCR positives as I hear the testing companies will not reveal that information.
