A variety of experts question that the statistical claims for one of the new strains of THE VIRUS!!! are factually accurate. I want to paste the whole article, but I'll cut it by 95%...

https://lockdownsceptics.org/2020/12/21/latest-news-230/#the-mutant-strain-show-us-the-evidence

The Mutant Strain: Show Us the Evidence

The Mutant Strain is said to be 70% more infectious than the original version. But is it? Carl Heneghan of the Centre for Evidence based Medicine asked to see the evidence.

The Daily Mail followed up this tweet:

Carl Heneghan, Professor of Evidence Based Medicine at Oxford University’s Nuffield Department of Primary Care, expressed scepticism over the 70% figure.

He said: “I’ve been doing this job for 25 years and I can tell you can’t establish a quantifiable number in such a short time frame.”

He added “every expert is saying it’s too early to draw such an inference”.

Professor Heneghan said there was no doubt this time of the year, the “height of the viral season”, was a difficult time for the NHS. But he said failure to put out the basis of the figures was undermining public trust.

He added: “I would want to have very clear evidence rather than ‘we think it’s more transmissible’ so we can see if it is or not.

“It has massive implications, it’s causing fear and panic, but we should not be in this situation when the Government is putting out data that is unquantifiable.”

He added: “They are fitting the data to the evidence. They see cases rising and they are looking for evidence to explain it.”

I think I have some idea of how the gov publishes incorrect information. It looks like they are not bound by telling the truth. The Smith-Mundt Modernization Act seems to let them say what they like to lead you where they like. Covid related, total infections, new infections etc can be misleading at best. Pseudo science I am guessing is a new religion right next to Scientology, right next to banking.

A new study says Hawai'i has bounced back the least among state from job losses.

WalletHub ranked the state 51st.

Hawai'i has been hit harder than most states by the drop in tourism demand.

51st, out of what, states? I'm kind of confused. I'm hoping this is not states.

Seriously can someone fill me in on this. I think I missed something.

In November, Mayor Kawakami implemented a mandatory quarantine for all incoming travelers to Kauai regardless of any pre or post travel test. The quarantine includes visitors and residents flying from the mainland and interisland.

Lockdowns hit harder for some.  Imagine your mother or father passing away while on a ventilator.  You're not allowed to be in the room when the machines are turned off while your parent dies.  If you're "lucky", the hospital staff will let you watch on your smartphone or PC as they remove your loved one from life support.

Afterward, you can't hold a normal service for the deceased, nor opt for a burial if cremations are mandatory for "COVID-related" deaths.

The entire grieving process is upended, not just for you, but for every relative, friend and coworker of the thousands who die every month with OR WITHOUT a COVID diagnosis.

There is harm being done to people that we aren't fully aware of, nor for which we are taking steps to mitigate.

Tons of articles and videos on "social distancing" at funerals.  One I saw showed a dozen chairs spread out at a cremation.  When the sons tried to move next their mother to comfort her, the funeral directors told them to return to their places or be ejected.

Funerals are for the survivors, not the deceased.  COVID restrictions are taking that away from the people who need closure so they can move on.

One of my oldest and dearest friend’s wife was just informed her brother is in a coma on a ventilator and not expected to make it to the end of the week. His wife got COVID and gave it to him but he refused to get help. They found him passed out barely breathing on Sunday. She lives in CA and her brother is in ID. She can’t go see him before he passes. And they can’t hold a service due to restrictions. So she can’t go at all. She is so sad and mad at the same time.

My nephew’s wife lives in CA and she is getting more and more depressed as the weeks go by due to the lockdowns. My nephew is very worried about her as it is effecting their kids.

Imagine if you go to a funeral or see a dying loved one to only get sick or have others sick, so everyone ends up going to even more funerals or death beds. Exponentially increasing till everyone either survived or died from covid.
