If the Safety Cult politicians running things really believed that immunizations would positively influence the casedemic (and that mattered at all in any way), then, to be logically consistent, they would mandate the immunizations for those employed beneath them. Otherwise they are allowing their employees to kill people... right?

How many of the LA firefighters have some kind of "objection" to getting vaccinated? How many take those objections seriously enough to give up their jobs?

https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2021-01-16/more-than-40-of-l-a-firefighters-still-unvaccinated

Drive to get COVID-19 vaccine to L.A. firefighters loses steam as 42% fail to show up

The push to protect Los Angeles Fire Department personnel from COVID-19 has ground to a near halt as many firefighters decline to take the vaccine.

Late last year, firefighters were the first city workers given access to the shots. After an initial burst of activity, the number showing up to get the vaccine has plummeted.

The reluctance of L.A. firefighters adds to the list of healthcare workers in the state who are declining to take the vaccine, a trend that health experts say could have serious public health implications.

As part of their work responding to 911 calls and delivering patients to emergency rooms, many firefighters are routinely in contact with sick patients. Regardless of whether they get a shot, they are required to wear protective equipment on the job.

On Friday, Mayor Eric Garcetti said he would “potentially” make the vaccination mandatory if firefighters remain reluctant in a few months.

“It’s something that we’re talking about, especially those who will be interacting with the public,” Garcetti said, adding that other city workers could also face mandatory vaccinations.

Gee, not one word about WHY these guys are refusing the shots.  Maybe they found out about their 99.85% chance of survival or that only 4-6% of Covid deaths are due to Covid alone.

From Tom woods today:

Back in May, Vanity Fair ran this headline:

"If 80% of Americans Wore Masks, COVID-19 Infections Would Plummet, New Study Says"

Well, we know how that turned out.

Mask compliance is at about 88% overall.

Now that that didn't work out, the mask religionists are falling back on what they call their "Swiss cheese" model of virus mitigation. I would explain that to you, but really. (It starts with, "We never said masks alone would do the trick!")

When you challenge the grandiose claims made for masks by pointing out the endless charts showing no discernible effect anywhere, or comparing places with masks to places without, the excuse factory shifts into high gear.

There are too many other factors at work between two given places, so it's not fair to compare their outcomes with and without masks, we're told.

(Incidentally, if the charts all showed deaths going down after the introduction of mask mandates, do you think we'd be getting these lectures about careful distinctions and nuance, or do you think the mask religionists would be shoving the charts in our faces?)

All right, then. Let's look at just one place, Arizona, and compare it with itself.

Given the importance attached to masks, there must surely be a clear difference, evident in the data, between Arizona counties that mandated masks and Arizona counties that didn't.

Are you ready to see that radical difference for yourself?

Here it is:

Now nonbelievers in the mask religion may look at that chart and say: there is no difference.

But we know what happens to mask religion heretics -- they're deplatformed and destroyed.

So:

Why, yes, Mr. Science Man, sir, I sure do see the big difference masks made in Arizona!

Now I have another chart for you, this one illustrating media distortion.

Iowa and New Mexico had very similar curves, separated only by time.

In both places the curve went up sharply, and then came down steadily.

As the curve was going up in Iowa, The Atlantic ran the headline on the left. As the curve was coming down in New Mexico, Scientific American ran the headline on the right:

Do these seem like reliable sources to you?

(The question is intended to answer itself.)

AND that being vaccinated doesn't prevent a person from carrying and transmitting the THE VIRUS!!!

Anyway, it seems Republican states are leading the pack when it comes to % of population vaccinated and % of vaccine use vs. available stock on the shelf.  Tells me a lot about which party really cares about preserving life and validates my belief that the hydroxi chloroquine ban, causing over 200,000 deaths, was really an intentional deprivation instigated by big pharma and the Democrats.  There is a special place in Hell reserved for those criminals.

Same with the Dem lock downs stifling business and recovery but mark me, watch what happens after inauguration.  Amazing openings and vaccinations all to credit the new administration and the 2024 election.  What will follow in a month or little more is an amazing decrease in deaths more due to the eventual and secret lowering of the PCR sensitivity from 40 to 25 as many physicians have requested.  At 40 unitsm of sensivity dead virus register the same as live and the infection rate is high, lower it and you will new cases plummet, less death and you will see more pneumonia and flu registered causes of death.  Who here has read the John Hopkins report of actual total deaths 2019 vs. 2020k?  No, repeat no increase in overall deaths even with Covid.  Report has since been censured--what's new?

Wow, 60% of the French citizens want to kill people (especially grandma and grandpa)! Bastards! They need to have their social media taken away... or something.

https://www.wsj.com/articles/france-once-a-vaccine-pioneer-is-top-skeptic-in-covid-19-pandemic-11610971051?mod=e2tw

France, Once a Vaccine Pioneer, Is Top Skeptic in Covid-19 Pandemic

Covid-19 vaccination campaign off to a glacial start, as it meets some of the world’s highest skepticism rates. ‘I can’t be the guinea pig.’

Audrey Courreges’s mistrust of new coronavirus vaccines runs so deep that she’s told the nursing home where she works, in the southern French town of Beziers, that she won’t take the vaccinations or administer them.

“I have a brain. I’m capable of forming my own ideas,” the 33-year-old nurse says. “There is some mistrust of the authorities on my part, when you see how the crisis has been managed in France from the start.”

France’s mass vaccination campaign is off to a glacial start, with only around 422,000 people receiving the vaccine in more than three weeks since European regulators authorized the drug, far behind most other developed nations. A big reason: French officials are running up against deeply ingrained opposition that has made France among the world’s top vaccine skeptics.

An Ipsos poll conducted in December found that France ranked at the bottom of 15 countries on willingness to take a Covid-19 vaccine, with only 40% of the public saying they wanted the shot. Polls show that more than three-quarters of nursing home workers—who are among the government’s first target groups for the vaccine—don’t want to take it.

While the Dem-run states are busy trying to divide up the existing vaccine based on "fairness", race, income, etc., and incompetently implementing those priorities while vaccine sits waiting to be opened, Red States are getting the job done.

Cause there are idiots in the world.  The chance of dying from the vaccine is less than covid. The chance of lung damage that happens even in those with no symptoms is more than the vaccine.  But I guess that's how the Darwin awards happens. If only it could only effect those who make the idiotic decisions and not innocents who have to suffer because of it.

Nobody knows that for a fact -- except you?

Just because the experts say the vaccine is safe -- the same experts predicting a 10-13% death rate, over 200M dead in the US this Summer, and masks don't prevent the wearer from getting infected, but now it does?

The experts' record of making predictions is no better than the dude ringing a bell on the corner & wearing a sign saying "The End is Near."

The Safety Cult morons are oblivious to facts... that's been obvious since Day One... but, for those who value facts...

https://rationalground.com/after-nine-months-we-still-know-masks-dont-work/

After nine months, we still know masks don’t work

Recently we highlighted an article by UF researchers that showed asymptomatic and presymptomatic spread of COVID-19 in households is essentially zero (0.7 ± 4.2 percent secondary attack rate). This result is important because potential asymptomatic spread was the basis for mask mandates across the country. Despite all the models and theories used to support non-pharmaceutical interventions (NPI), real-world evidence continues to show that these NPIs (mask mandates, lockdowns, etc.) are not effective.

Prior to COVID-19, the CDC’s Community Mitigation Guidelines to Prevent Pandemic Influenza (2017) said, “CDC does not routinely recommend the use of face masks by well persons in the home or other community settings as a means of avoiding infection” (p15). The document specifically talked about disposable surgical, medical, or dental procedure masks, not random cloth face masks. The document said that persons at high risk of complications (of flu) or who are caring for ill family members should wear masks but said, “little evidence supports the use of face masks by well persons in community settings” (p14).

In a January 28, 2020 press conference, Dr. Anthony Fauci said, “In all the history of respiratory-borne viruses of any type, asymptomatic transmission has never been the driver of outbreaks. The driver of outbreaks is always a symptomatic person. Even if there’s a rare asymptomatic person that might transmit, an epidemic is not driven by asymptomatic carriers.”

Even as late as April 6, the WHO’s guidelines said members of the general public “only need to wear a mask if you are taking care of a person with COVID-19” or “if you are coughing or sneezing.”

IT SME?  He couldn't spell "IT" if I spotted him the "I" and made the "T" multiple choice:

a) T

b) T

c) T

d) a, b, and c

e) none of the above

So far the vaccine has been out for 2 months.  I don't see mass deaths.   Millions have been vaccinated.   Millions have caught covid.  So far I see far more covid deaths.
