The shots they are giving out lower the duration of and severity of a COVID-19 infection if you contract the disease. They do not prevent infection or transmission, the definition of a vaccine.

We have medicines that lower duration of and severity of common strains of coronaviris, one of them is called Nyquil.

What are you serious?  The covid vaccines have shown, depending on manufacture up to 96% effective rate to NOT catch covid (prevent infection).

No the vaxx trains your body to identify covid and prevent infection.  I am sure there is a more scientific term to explain this process.  Probably involving antibodies etc.
