Very lazy meme. Your meme implies COVID is as dangerous as sitting in a burning house. If you don’t use a fire extinguisher you will die. Try again.
That, and it implies we know as little about the long term effects of fire extinguisher compounds used for decades as we do about COVID-19 vaccines that have existed for about a year and still are not approved by the FDA. Very wrong.
Then there's the frequency of use. Vaccinations require each person to get an initial shot, a booster soon after, and possibly an annual vaccination (maybe more). Fires don't need to be put out after they are extinguished, nor do fires recur in every home every year. The risk posed by fire extinguishers based on frequency and number of times people have to use extinguishers is much lower than the vaccine.
Having a fire extinguisher in the room in case of emergency means that chemical compound may never be introduced into the room. However, vaccines will be introduced into the human being getting the vaccine 100% of the time, and that will happen multiple times.
There were an estimated 481,500 structure fires reported to U.S. fire
departments in 2019, of which 361,500 occurred in residential structures.
https://www.statista.com/statistics/374811/us-fire-statistics-number-of-structure-fires-by-property-use/COVID-19 Vaccine:
3.63 billion doses have been administered globally, and 29.73 million are now administered each day.
Over half the population of the US is vaccinated (48.14% fully, the rest partially).
That would mean about 175M people are vaccinated in the US. Slightly more than the approximately half a million fires reported each year and the even smaller number of people who fought the fires with an extinguisher. Most will call 911 and run outside rather than fight it themselves, as the fire departments teach us to do. In fact, if the room was blazing a much as the meme portrays, I imagine almost nobody would be grabbing a fire extinguisher. They would be looking for the closest exit.
https://ourworldindata.org/covid-vaccinationsThis meme falls flat on it face no matter what perspective you try to use.
