The great thing about viruses is that they at least let you know (through symptoms) when you should stay away from people. A non sterilizing drug that only reduces symptoms is turning every public gathering place into a petri dish.

I bet the areas with the most vaccinations also had the highest infection rates (i.e. high density areas).  So, is it the vaccine?  Or is it the natural immunity from so many being infected before?  Maybe it's the social distancing and mask wearing in dense cities vs. the more lax practices in more rural areas?

Anytime I see a single factor "analysis", I have to question their objectivity.  The passage "trends thus far suggest" doesn't strike me as convincing as much as "evidence proves" would.

There is also overwhelming evidence of vaccinations greatly reducing hospitalization and death.

Does the vaccine cause reduced hospitalizations and death, or is it because we catch it sooner than in the beginning?  Trump is a great example.  Up and back to work in less than a week.  Guess what?  Trump was not vaccinated.
