A couple of coworkers were chatting about vaxx%, reports of hospitalizations, etc.  All engineers and mostly logical and driven by data.   We work with some prone to decisions by emotion.  Anyways, is there transparency on the data being reported?  I don't follow that closely, so I really don't know.  That said, the screening criteria and questions can definitely be swayed, even despite the outcomes.  Anyone familiar with polls on gun crimes should be familiar with that concept.

What exactly does it mean to have a "Covid case"?

From what I have been reading so far, a covid case can mean probable or suspected, which falls under the possibility that the person is not infected just as much as being infected.

Are they including these "cases" in their daily count?  We all agree this whole fuckin covid crap is highly politicized beyond belief.  Getting their 70%(or more) vaxx rate by all means even by using deception.

Why not just report "infected" data?  What's the matter?  "Infected" data is not as dramatic?  Not as scary?
