CDC’s definition of unvaccinated

The CDC report[1] says, “unvaccinated <14 days after receipt of the first dose of a two-dose series or one dose of the single-dose vaccine or if no vaccination registry data were available.” In other words, if a person is hospitalized, admitted to intensive care, required automated ventilation, or died within two weeks of getting injected, he is classified as ‘unvaccinated.’

It takes over 14 days to develop enough immunity to qualify.  That sounds perfectly okay,  not sure what the issue is.   You can take a few antibiotics, but you need to finish the prescribed amount to actually work. 

Stuff like comorbidities (at least IMO) have been ignored or lots of liberties on lumping things under the umbrella of conditions "related to COVID".  I don't recall seeing raw data for stuff like that.  Just blanket "90% of the deaths are unvaccinated" from our Czar Green and folks taking it as the truth. . .

Yes. . . however, would be good to get data on underlying conditions. 

Like folks who were say 99% there, but COVID pushed them over the edge.  Yeah, sucks, but still.  I've seen some interesting causes of death reported on death certs of family members over the years.  None of the causes of death were ever challenged and I saw it in death certs when handling other stuff, but did notice.  I think (or assume) that coroners take the easy way out in many cases, as well as sometimes no way to attribute to one factor.  I just think in this case, too much liberty taken to lump them all under "COVID related".

One of the most annoying things about the pandemic is that when it’s all over, we will have learned nothing. Individually, we will have learned plenty, but as a species we will have nothing. The data necessary is not being collected, accurate information is not being recorded or reported, and so-called experts have made their names changing their minds while insisting they’ve always been consistent. It’s a failure future generations will pay the consequences of, but we have our own price to pay for this stupidity along the way.
