Check it out before Facebook takes down the video!  I looked up the amendment and it does state what Shane Vaughn states.

It ain’t over until yet . . .

Good summary.

One thing he left out is that the VP is selected by the Senate.  The US Senate runoff election in Georgia is scheduled Dec 1.  That could determine whether the Senate is still controlled by the GOP or flips to the Dems.  Some are saying it's looking like a 50/50 split in the Senate after all the elections are finalized.  That makes the VP's party that much more important.

As if 2020 couldn't get any weirder, it's possible Trump could be reelected via votes in the House, and the Senate may elect Joe Biden or Kamala Harris as VP.  If they do, then any tied votes in the Senate would be broken by a Dem VP (acting  as President of the Senate) until the midterm elections at least.

I may know how to program an FPGA, or several computer languages, know
what the value of 0xFECE is, or to understand what a co-efficent
of friction is,  but I really don't think human
nature has changed all that much in the last few Millennia.
Those old farts just knew what kind of dipshits they had to live with
and tried to make something that worked better than what they had to suffer
with.
Up until we had modern Democrats it worked.

The Georgia U.S.Senate runoff elections are on January 5, 2021.

The Georgia U.S.Senate runoff elections are on January 5, 2021.

I read that date, too, but the official info says 2 different dates, so I changed it.  Ooopsie!

Now that I go back and look, Dec 1 is for state and local runoff elections, Jan 5 is for the federal runoff election.

It doesn't matter either way, but it's good to be accurate.

Depending on whether the electoral college does its thing on Dec 14, the House convenes to certify the results on the 6th.  That's probably going to be the time they discuss the issue and schedule a vote for selecting the President if it comes to that.  By then, the new House and Senate will have been settled (no guarantees at this point!!), meaning the balance in the Senate might have shifted.

Then again, if GA can't get its shit together, and the runoff takes as long to count as the general election, we could be here wondering what's going on while the Speaker of the House is in charge of the White House!!   :geekdanc:
