Do anyone have used 30-06 brass for sale?  Looking to reload for a M1 Garand.

I hoping to get at least 50 - 100 brass.

Maybe you know this already but there are only a few powders you should use for the M-1.  Some slow burning powders can damage your op rod and those aren't cheap to replace.

I haven't loaded 06 in more than a decade so I would recommend you google-fu a few loads specifically designed for the Garand. 

I've sold a few rifles at the gun show and I've always told buyers NOT to shoot commercial rounds UNLESS it was specifically made for Garands (the Federal stuff is good but expensive--then again, so is blowing up a rifle!).

Understood.  Yes, I was looking for m2 ball ammo.  No one seems to have any so I am going to try and reload my own.

Danger close has some federal m2 on its website, Dwayne's a good guy to deal with.

Not a problem.  I am on the hunt for powder, projectiles and large rifle primers.  I am well aware of the shortage, so that is why I am try to collect what I can for now.  I am estimating that the shortage should end by 2021 3rd quarter.  Hopefully.  Thanks you for looking into it.

I got a 1953 Garand a couple of years ago. I have been handloading all my ammo in mostly LC brass. I have had best accuracy from sierra 168 matchkings over IMR 4064. I think Varget develops higher pressure than 4895 and 4064, so be careful. FYI 4064 and 4895 are copies the powders used in 30 cal m1 ball ammo.
If you don't mind fiddling a little, you can buy an adjustable gas plug http://www.schustermfg.com/m1-garand-adjustable-gas-plug/ to tweak down the gas on modern 30-06 or hotter handloads.

The best part is that you are exempt from the 5 round rule at koko head.

Ahh, great info!  I have both a 1903A1 and Garand, but have only shot the 1903 so far because all I was able to find is new production factory ammo.  Now that I am getting into reloading/handloading, I can look to load for the Garand.  I have the powders mentioned below already on hand for .308.  Will refer to load data in manuals, but good to see what others have been trying and their hits or misses.  Will be good to shoot the Garand again.

Yes!  My M1 Garand will be here, soon, and really am looking forward to shooting it.  I purchased some casings from Lihikai for reloading (great guy with a lot of knowledge) and will be purchasing some M2 Ball ammo from Oldmose.  I was informed that not to shoot the M1 with commercial grade ammo, so I decided to get back into reloading.
