Sacked the US Capitol? Maybe I’ve been watching too much GoT and other medieval shows, like Robin Hood. That doesn’t seem like sacking. Over dramatic much?

My God; and there are some who think I am delusional.

Are you sure you're not imagining that?    :geekdanc:

the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

If the US population is turning against them, then that's only 50%.

That’s the scary part.
The Country is split in half.
Was with the last election also but it’s more pronounced and visible.
Clinton supporters crying like babies was a lot different than Trump supporters storming the Capitol.
The line keeps getting drawn deeper by both sides.

To be honest, since what's happening, in the US, is so surreal, I really don't know anymore.

Even with the views everyone knows I have; I, myself, can't believe the events that are really unfolding.

I was using the 21st century version of mob sacking.

Let's hope some other group does not partake in some "old school" sacking, with rape and pillaging.

If the US population is turning against them, then that's only 50%.  Not enough to break the hold of the imperial power elite.

You know what's really funny.  If I even mentioned that some group would storm the US Capitol and said that was the signal, for the end of the US, sometime last year; I would bet my view would have been dismissed and I would have been dog-piled, not only by you, but everyone else who saw the US, as you do.

Well, some group did cross the Rubicon, sacked the US Capitol, and still there some blowing this off, as nothing, thinking all of America will be holding hands and singing Kumbaya, in the near future.  My God; and there are some who think I am delusional.

The historical signs of nation fall is already written on many urban city walls.  The ever declining US will soon unmask itself, showing its true face of empire, and then later balkanize, into separate nation states, based on political, racial, or ethnic affiliation.

I have no time table for this outcome, but then again, I did not think the storming, of the US Capitol, would happen so soon...

I don't agree with most of your perspectives and opinions but I can see your point in this post.

+1 don’t know about nation states but I do see a schism akin to the north vs south. Maybe not in my lifetime but I do believe it will happen... :-\
