Great the gun show is comming to town.  When you buy a handgun at the show where do you pick it up after you get your permit?  I'm just thinking that some vendors are private sellers and others might come from the Continental US.

I've sold handguns at the gun show.

I take payment,
Write a receipt with make, model, caliber, barrel length and type of handgun,
(name, address and ID number and type of buyer)
my name and address

I keep one copy of receipt and give them one copy.

The buyer then takes receipt to HPD (firearms registration) and applies for permit to acquire.
They wait two weeks
After two weeks they pick up their permit and I meet them at HPD to give them the handgun.

Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but they should have to beat you to death with it because it is empty.

It's unlikely you'll find a mainland seller coming here for the show.  First off, they would first have to go thru the rigamarole of registering their guns with HPD.  Second, ours is a tiny gun show.  Third, they would have to wait around for two weeks to hand the gun over to you, or have to deal with shipping it.
