Why would you cut a barrel to 16.5?

In other news, what do you charge for cut, crown, re-thread?

We charge $75 to take the gun apart clean it. Cut and thread.  Recrown is a step cut. We can do 11 degree crowns for a few extra $$

I wouldn't need my upper disassembled or cleaned, just interested in having a barrel cut, crowned, and threaded. What do you guys charge for a cut, crown, and thread on a stripped barrel? Also, do you guys insure cuts are concentric to the bore for suppressors?

Thanks Dex!

Test fired the 15-22 at Koko Head today, I'm very pleased with it.  It looks much better with the short barrel and A2 birdcage on it.  Dex did a great job, thanks!  My red dot sight crapped out on me (battery died) so I had to go to BUIS (stock S & W).  My rifle still doesn't like Federal ammo, but it shot much better with Blazer, of all things.  The nice thing is that with the New Frontier 4.5 lb trigger group installed, my M & P and "Frankengun" both have the same trigger pull and overall feel, making the M & P a great trainer as well as a plinker.

Bottom line?  Worth every penny!  Thanks Dex!
