Picked up this primer seater kit to incorporate it with my RCBS bench primer seater. It’s not a CPS, but the machining and built on this is pretty impressive. And since I already have the RCBS bps, I figured why not. It also comes with this nice gauge to check seating depths. Checked some of recent reloads I did, and to my surprise it was seated too deep and depth measured all over the place. Been seating primers by feel all this time. In Holland’s video, any where from 3-5 thousandths below is ideal. I’ve read also that primer seating depths also has something to do with sd. Well, I don’t believe it till I see it. Will do some experiment with that on my next reload.
