nothing against the Queen, but I don't know if she will be close to as good as the Equalizer as Denzel.  I really like Denzel in the 2 movies. I can watch those movies over and over
in the description of the reboot, Latifa is also a single mom with a daughter, so that will play into the script.  I'm sure a lot of politically correct stuff as well, probably too much PC stuff, the way Hollywood is going these days
i'll still watch the series bc I like the movies.  I don't really remember the original tv series with that English actor.  but I have my doubts about the new tv series being too PC.  will probably be another drama / soap opera with the background of the Equalizer.  I hope not, I hope its good.

After seeing Liam in Taken, I don't judge anyone.  Who knew Schindler could kick that much ass.  Jedi training doesn't count.  No fist or choking involved.

The original Equalizer was an older White male.

To cast a different race and/or gender is cultural appropriation.

The radicals are screaming that only transgenders play those movie and TV roles.  Gays and Lesbians should be the only ones to play Gays and Lesbians.  Japanese should only be allowed in Japanese roles.  These are all real controversies that in some cases caused a film project to be canceled.

No offense to Denzel whom I concur did an excellent job in the movies, nor to Queen whom I loved in certain movies, but to keep replacing White males in "reboots" but then protest against others playing certain roles is hypocritical at best.

I didn't know Blane from Glee was straight.

I think shes cute.

She was pretty bad ass in the movie Set It Off.

The logical side of the WOC 007 film is that there's no reason to appropriate the Ian Fleming playboy secret agent 007.  Why could they not create a WOC agent (009?) who was TRAINED BY or works missions with 007?

The answers are obvious.  They want to destroy to male stereotype of the secret agent while trying to use the Ian Fleming 007 franchise as a springboard for their SJW narratives.  Rather than compete with an existing story figure, they want to steal it and use it for themselves.

I used to date a chick that was in a very similar situation.  Trained for MMA and other combat sports, got busy and stopped that as well as a health condition and she, uh, well, yeah. . .

There was an article about Gina Carano mentioning what happened, but just lifestyle.  Yeah, still not "bad".  Well, maybe a bit since she's probably more than a "handful" now.

i watched the first few episodes.  not good
not a convincing Equalizer and seems like a soap opera.  too much content about the daughter, family, political and racial issues
and then i think it was the 2nd or 3rd episode where Queen Latifah used the double handgun criss-cross aiming technique.  after i saw that, i had to change the channel.  too much hollywood BS
