Guns were drawn? I thought firearms were illegal in the Capitol.

There is no putting this genie back in the bottle. They elite were very clear that only acceptable path forward for team MAGA is to stop existing. Now comes the inevitable response and escalating violence. The security state will crack down, most likely followed by something that will make today seem like a fun romp in the park. As Gerald Celente says when people have nothing to lose they lose it.

Now that hyperinflation is knocking on the door I don’t expect people to become more reasonable. Probably a better idea to focus our energy on what we can do locally to make our islands more resilient in the face of coming supply shortages.

I don't want to be a downer but when was the last time we had an honest election?
As far as i can tell from what happened today, this was the last fizzle. I want to be optimistic but nothing good came from today. If we couldn't get rid of the trash through the system by now I'm afraid that route is closed.

The cities at the center of this election scandal have a historical reputation as being corrupt.  Election tampering and vote manipulation has been just ONE of the ways in which these almost exclusively Democrat controlled cities have been cheating.

Mail-in voting simply expanded the opportunity to cheat with no way to really catch them unless someone was watching when it happened -- and they all made sure that was prevented.

Anyone who believes the 2020 General, and now the 2021 GA run-off, elections were legit didn't watch any of the testimony given to state legislators while keeping an open mind.

The data doesn't lie.  No one has offered any  rational explanations for the statistical impossibilities and anomalies.  Their only retort is, "So?  That's not proof of [fill in the blank]."

Nobody is saying the data is proof of anything OTHER THAN the election results do not make any sense at all.  That should be enough to demand a full accounting of the election in all states, particularly in the swing states.
The reasonable man adapts himself to the world;
the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

Most moral politician of his time. One of the first to use satire in his oratory. I enjoy quotes from him.

A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself.

While it's sad that antifa was there,  they were not the majority.  More than 2 people stormed the capital.   I hope those 2 antifa members are arrested and tried in the courts along with the others.

Definitely looking like a false flag now. I feel kind of silly for believing it at first but the inevitable populist revolt is only a matter of time at this point.

Antifa were bussed in with a police escort in order to interrupt the proceedings and make sure that no evidence was heard. Police let down the barriers and were guiding them through the building. It was the perfect excuse to deplatrorm Trump and damage his reputation. Notice they took down his tweets asking for peace first.

Surprising that the head of the capital police didnt activate the NG and just let in the crowd....and pence had to activate them instead.

Even though trump did hire him.  I wouldn’t think he would listen to trump and just let people in...that could have ended badly.  luckily they were there for selfies and didn’t try to seriously go after any of the reps or senators.

Surprised there was not that much vandalism/damage

I assume the lady was shot by SS not the capital police

National Guardsmen would have been like "why are you letting Antifa into the building"?

The biggest thing I saw (from the video of a man that was in there) was although they pushed their way in, it wasn’t a violent event. They said a prayer on the floor of Congress and took pictures. The ones hanging from the rails and doing aggressive things looked like BLM/Antifa member posing as Trump Supporters.  But the Media is trying to condemn it like they were burning down the Capitol.
