Especially if your stance on things are not with the mainstream of the forum.  Walk quietly but carry a big stick is the way to get respected.
Some want to do it in an extreme “I’m in your face and you have to live with me” manner. Even when ignoring, their constant detracting from otherwise civil debate is the very definition of a troll.

However, what we have here is a “know it all, know nothing” who really has no idea on how to interact with people in a mature way. Have no idea how people like that survive in life except for running their mouth from behind a keyboard. Then some folks who are seemingly easily triggered, with just the slightest things setting them off on tirades.

I hear ya brother and agree with your above ( and the one above the one above) post in it’s entirety 100% .

But it seems like we have a couple on this forum on both sides of aisle who fit the bill.
Like Heavies said just try to be civil.

True. I’m used to ignoring. But many folks with wealth of info have given up on this forum. Even me, I’ve been trying to stick to the gun stuff and not get sucked into the lunacy.

His running mate was inside the capitol yesterday. And comments are all negative and glad he lost.

Same people complain later HI still messed up after voting for the same type of politician.

I certainly do not condone Hal’s posts and the way he comes across.
But it seems like anyone who even leans centrist/Left on this forum gets the torch carrying mob rule treatment.
Trump did a good job in policies but sucked as a person and a leader. Going off the deep end at the end.
If he could just not be an asshole most of the time, he’d still be President.

“Oh, your feelings are hurt.....” some would respond
While some you folks practice juvenile cancel culture and call anyone with an opposing view a troll.

We’re losing half the 2A supporters with hardline stances and ridicule and cancel culture.
If you don’t like it, ignore it. Unless you feel a response is warranted.

Just my opinion.

Mac,
While you're outing people on username changes, can we get the reason FlappJackson has changed his 4 times since joining?

I find it highly hypocritical of you to bash trolls when you never seem to have anything to say unless it includes trolling me.

Plenty of evidence to back me up, including some of your most ignorant posts being deleted -- which you then whined about.

I do enjoy living rent-free inside your head, but it's awfully lonely there.  Maybe try conjuring up some amenities to fill all that empty space?

You .... complaining about trolls ....  HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

It occurs to me that some people may not understand the term "Troll" or "trolling" in the context of online behavior.

This is for the people who would like to know, and for those who continually deny they fall under the category "Troll," even though they obviously do:

Quote
In Internet slang, a troll is a person who starts flame wars or intentionally upsets people
on the Internet. Typically they do this by posting inflammatory and digressive,[1] extraneous,
or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or
blog), with the intent of provoking readers into displaying emotional responses[2] and
normalizing tangential discussion.[3] This is typically for the troll's amusement, or to achieve
a specific result such as disrupting a rival's online activities or manipulating a political process.

Both the noun and the verb forms of "troll" are associated with Internet discourse. However,
the word has also been used more widely. Media attention in recent years has equated trolling
with online harassment. For example, the mass media have used "troll" to mean "a person who
defaces Internet tribute sites with the aim of causing grief to families".[4][5] In addition, depictions
of trolling have been included in popular fictional works, such as the HBO television program
The Newsroom, in which a main character encounters harassing persons online and tries to infiltrate
their circles by posting negative sexual comments.[6]

So, as an example, if you are hijacking threads, then you are a Troll.  It doesn't matter if you intentionally did it or not.  Nobody here can ascertain anyone's intentions.  If you can't control your trolling inclinations, then maybe the Internet just isn't the place for you?

In short, if your comments are meant to do nothing more than amuse yourself, disrupt the discussion, provoke others, and offer nothing of value to the conversation, you are the definition of a Troll.

Too many people assume they know what words mean.  Thought I'd make sure we are on the same page at least.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled program.    :geekdanc:

So by this definition you are a troll.  :shaka:

This thread is about Trump supporters "storming" the capital.  You posted a definition and a tangent complaining about trolls.  You are what you "hate".

Also makes most of what people post "against" me, like the endless posts with one period after a post I make.  Those who spam that everything they don't believe in is liberal propaganda etc.  Those who denounce anything not pro trump in threads not about trump.  Which you are part of the groups.  You also post off topic things in threads.  The irony of your statement is hilarious. I would argue you are one of the biggest trolls here.

Your entire post is meant to troll me -- nothing else.

Dumbass Troll.

Do I troll?  ABSOLUTELY!!  I troll trolls -- for obvious reasons.
