After the events of the last few months, weeks, and days,
Haft mast and upside down seems appropriate,
for every American, to do for the next 4 years minimum. :shaka:

In my mind, whether it was deliberate or not, it was appropriate.......for the occasion.

Thanks for the info. I just re-oriented my flag in the same manner as the Maui post offices flag. 😁

At the wind mills in north shore they had a Chinese flag over the us flag and it was upside down

As a former Boy Scout and employee who has raised and lowered flags at schools, businesses and campgrounds, it's really not that hard to get the flag inverted if you aren't paying attention.

You have two hooks on a single flag rope.  You put the hook on one eyelet, then the other, and grab the rope above one of the hooks and pull.  If you grab the wrong part of the rope, the flag is inverted.  When you get in a hurry, and if nobody is helping you, it's too easy to run the flag up the wrong way.  I've done it, caught the mistake, and had to bring it down to correct.  I've also seen others have their flag up incorrectly for hours before someone noticed and notified them.

So, before they "investigate", they really ought to just let the Postmaster know it happened.  Only if it happens again, should there be any "investigation."

Crap, people are so stupid sometimes.  Burning a flag is protected speech, but accidentally running one up a pole upside-down requires an investigation?

Just like Hawaiian patriots, who fly our national flag, in the position of distress; it is very fitting, for American patriots, to do the same.

The star and stripes is the flag of the American Republic and not the US empire that it has become, for a long time now.

Anyone on this forum who knows Kuleana, also knows my political positions.  I have always been a consistent broken record and have been flamed for it through the years.  The only thing I hope the senior posters can come to realize is that all my rants were against the US empire, NOT against the patriots, of the American Republic, as I always tried to make clear, in my older posts.

As a Hawaiian that knows something about having their nation taken away, I sincerely sympathize with all the American patriots to date.  Similar to the slow infiltration in Hawaii's government, led by US annexationists, which resulted in the overthrow of Hawaii's last Queen; the American Republic was also slowly infiltrated, by the same imperial elements, via the established political parties, which led to the suppose-to-be legal government blatantly overthrown, via a fraudulent election.

Hope is not lost, however.  As in Hawaii's case, as long as there are patriots, who will not let their nations die, there is still opportunity for restoration.  Empires, by nature, do not live forever and the US empire is much closer to its end than it thinks.  For now, careful planning is needed to prepare, for the new anti-freedom reality that will be the norm, from now till this empire's final end.  In the long-term, patriot patience is what is needed till the right time comes...

It was clearly a hateful political statement, some right-wing nutcase must be exposed and punished, now!!

I basically agree with you a lot.
However your fixation on race and your "Nation"
is offensive.
I'm a Pollack. Jew, Scot, bastard
(although my parents were married for a while)
My only loyalty is God, family, and country in that order.
My country today happens to be what was America.
Tomorrow it could be the Hawaii island republic.
My point is you can't ever go home.
and expect it was like it was before you left.
Aloha.

My apologies B.I.Groveler.

My reference to the island nation of Hawaii was not meant to offend.  The Hawaiian nation, as you know, was a multiracial state.  If there are Hawaiians today, who use race, in their arguments, for de-occupation and restoration, they are sorely misinformed.  For educated Hawaiians, the term Hawaiian is a nationality, not ethnicity.  Only the aboriginal natives born on the Big Island can ethnically can call themselves ethnic Hawaiians.   Those who overthrew Hawaii's last Queen, whose parents were from America, but born in Hawaii, were as Hawaiian as the rest of the Kanaka Maoli.

When Hawaii is finally free from the US empire, I see a nation administratively run quite different, from the one, in the 19th century.  I see an internationally neutral modern Republic that stays true to its diplomatic roots, as being friends to all and enemies to none.

I hope this clears-up any misunderstandings.   :shaka:

Surfing the West Side today and boy I have not seen so many Kanaka flags since peak TMT. Also noticed this new kind where the colors are less rasta and a bit darker as well as many inverted Hawaiian flags. No inverted American flags on cars that I noticed, but there were a few houses and businesses with them. Trump won that district and it is obvious they are not happy.

Someone is feeling the need...the need to secede.

I’m becoming clinically undepressed and thinking about beginning it all.

An investigation? For what, hurt feelings?
