Besides, what politician willingly divulges that kind of information unless (1) they really weren't assaulted -- just something happened they can spin as assault, and (2) they want some more victim points?

If there's a police report, MAYBE I'll give her the benefit of a doubt.

There has to be some benefit to telling the story, or else she would have opened up sooner.  Why now?  What motivated her?  I guess without Trump to attack, she needs SOMETHING to get herself the personal attention she's used to.

I wasn't about to watch her rhetorical nonsense, but from what I saw on a commentary, she's conflating sexual harassment with sexual assault.

Poor little victim.  Must be tough being an oppressed woman of color getting paid $176,000 a year plus whatever donations she can funnel to her boyfriend.

This belittles and distracts from actual sexual assault claims.  And she's a lawmaker.

So more is being released about her "traumatic experience" for the capitol entry.  She was not actually in the capitol building where people entered.  Those people who reminded her of her sex assault.harassment.  She was about 5 mins away and a few buildings across.  When she was hiding in the restroom, it was a guard that was looking for her.  So maybe that scary guard reminded her of her sex assault/harassment.  At no time did anyone who isn't authorized to do so entered this building.

I saw some of her quotes on commentary videos.  Basically, she imagined everything.

She wants someone to be responsible for her active imagination making her afraid.  No actual threat, just her FEELING that there was a threat.

You don't have a right to not feel afraid, especially when it's all in your mind.
