Informal spot still down in Manuka, and the new range up near Waikoloa will be built in the next few years.  Paauilo is pretty much pistol distance only if that matters.

Blue Water Hunters near Costco has started carryng guns.  Nice selection of AR type rifles and a few handguns.  Hope their ammo selection widens.  Plan on spending more of my meager retirement funds there to keep them going.  That is it on the west side other than Sports Authority.

DLNR has been cracking down on folks who shoot in hunting areas without following the law to the letter.  No ball ammo, only one gun, no handgun unless it's legal to hunt with AND you have a dog, wear your orange vest, etc.  Folks who get caught get their gun(s) confiscated until they pay the fine.

You could join one of the gun clubs.....

actually the screen name is related to my job.  i forgot about the transformers character when i made the SN.  but yeah, i used to love soundwave on transformers when i was a kid.

been debating between the 10-22 and the 15-22...  but with the 15-22 i can share parts that i already have for my AR.

i'm posey from Georgia and i currently work in the DoC, and have 7yrs electrical exp looking forward to the move to Oahu in September. My current fun gun is my 1911 45. RIA, although i have 2 project rifles. The first is a LMT custom AR15, and the second is a classic Mosin Nagant that's currently getting modified for a picatinny rail. Let me know if i can help doing anything when I get over there, except money starting out... that'll be tight lol.

Hey, I was born and raised there. What part of LB? I grew up on the east side near El Dorado Park. And lived down in the Belmont Heights area and around the traffic circle  for 25 years.

I'm currently selling off some of my rifles here in Cali, but I will be taking along a pistol for home protection.

Don't sell off too much of the good stuff.  Expensive to replace them here.  Wish I had not sold as much as I did when I moved, will never be able to afford to buy the same again.  Kept my 1911 and 870 of course.
