Hello, I've been a local resident all my life and have had permits to acquire off and on for about 25 years but only got seriously interested in firearms earlier this year. Now I'm addicted to getting new guns when i can afford them and learning all I can about future purchases. Is this normal?

Hi everyone, just found 2aHawaii tonight and decided we needed to join. Yes "we", my family and I all shoot and love the sport. It's a great way to spend time together. We live close enough to the Koko Head range that I can hear the shots from my living room. My 14 year old son and I try to shoot as often as possible and looking to start shooting USPSA.

hawaii kai neighborhood board meeting next tuesday night
may have testimony regarding possible ricochet in kalama valley

I'm planning to be there.  But I believe we need some ammunition(no pun intended) to bring to the meeting, like a photo of this bullet.

I am Officer Oshita of the Honolulu Police Department.  We received your complaint via the Mayor’s Office regarding your request for police reports involving bullets striking homes.  I am writing to inform you that two reports were made, one is a felony case and the other one is a misdemeanor.  Both of these cases are currently open and  are being investigated.  Due to the fact that theses cases have not been closed, none of these police reports can be released at this time.  The only suggestion I can give you, if you need these reports, is to get a court ordered subpoena to obtain these reports.  If you have further questions regarding the police reports you are requesting or information on how you can obtain them, please call HPD’s Records Division at ph. 723-3258.  I hope this information is useful to you.
