Great to have another shooter here in Kona.

If you have not gotten up to speed yet on the range situation, you need to know we do not have one.  Planning has been in the works for decades and getting close, but the usual suspects are strying to stop it from being built.

This is the funding bill working its way throught the system.  maybe take time to sign up and submit testimony when it is open.  On Target Hawaii is the group spearheading the effort to get this built.

Thanks for the warm aloha guys. Thanks for the info Rob! And yes I'm well aware of our need for a range in Kona. I've been sighting in my rifles at manuka for now. Always take a load of trash back with me after going out there. Hahah.

Yes oldfart. My family all are back in Honolulu still. Miss them all very much. My dad just picked up a M1A and took it to the range a few weeks ago with my brother. They had a blast!

if this thread is still alive keith from honolulu - just received my handgun cert and picked up a vp9 and sig mosquito - also got me an m&p 22 lr  and ati 5.56/.223 - too bad shooting hours are so limited during the week - hopefully the city will upgrade the facility and allow further distances to shoot - aloha

new member here, from Hawaii Kai. i have a handful of shooters. mossy 935, glock 19, superblackhawk, and a 10/22 with some cheap optics on it. just emerging from the fog of very young children,  :  and hoping to get out and burn some power soon. Lots of good info around here. THanks for protecting our rights and running such a great forum!
