Hi everyone,
I'm Che-Wai from Honolulu. I'm a long time lurker and first time poster here. Been into firearms and shooting for 10+ years, primarily bolt action, but am starting to diversify my collection. Definitely enjoy everyone's insight here and look forward to hearing more of your experiences/advice/tips.

Welcome to the forum. Make sure you keep up to date on legislation and write to your legislators when necessary.
Like right now. It's a battle and you just jumped in.

Noah from Honolulu. Proud to support our 2a rights. Exercised my right to own firearms the moment I was allowed to. Always eager to learn new things and train on new platforms.

Thank you for introducing yourself. Don't be such a stranger.
Be sure to get involved with the legislative alerts or kiss your ARs goodbye.

The ball is rolling and my family will likely be moving to Kauai from the Denver area in the next few months. We need a reset in our lives, so we're selling all our stuff and looking for a much simpler life. The Aloha Spirit has been calling to us for some time, and the pieces are finally falling into place.

I'm a former soldier and LEO. My last job was the Armory Supervisor at Magpul. I recently resigned to be a stay-at-home dad to my two boys, 2&4; a much tougher job. I will definitely be bringing a few firearms with me, and my tools so I can wrench on guns. I've been shooting and building AR's since the 80's and have factory armorer's certifications on multiple platforms. I may look at transferring my FFL there as well. I see there are virtually no shooting ranges there, but JGB Arms in Lihue advertises for live-fire training, so they must shoot somewhere. Also been looking at the hunting situation on the island, and it appears as though there's lots of protein scurrying about.

Looking forward to the move, and becoming active in the 2A community as soon as we get settled. I'm an NRA Lifer, and have been active in 2A orgs in a few states that we've lived in.

My name is Jason, from Colorado and live in Wahiawa. Served in the US Army where I met and married a local girl. I love Hawaii and I love my guns. I especially love the constitution and what it affords us... Freedom, but lately it's been degraded. That's why I hope to contribute a little to this forum and our cause. The AR platform is my favorite rifle to shoot. I will try to be active on this forum and put in the hard work to restore our 2A rights. I was one of the 13 or so who showed up at the January rally. Please feel free to reach out. Thanks for this opportunity.

Pleasure to meet you Jason I was kidding with the (Will?) comment. I don't know if we met the opening day of the legislature or not I was there though. Welcome to the forum proper I am gonna guess that you were lurking.

Aloha everyone!  I'm Eddie from Wahiawa.  I hope to make a difference in the 2A community by being more proactive in writing/contacting my legislators when the need arises.  Mahalo for this opportunity to be part of this group.

Hello All--registered here in April, posted my first comment yesterday, so I figured it's about time I introduced myself.  Tom from Waikiki.  Currently the proud father of an AR-15 (FN-15, 20' barrel) and a match grade M1A which could drive nails if the operator was any good.  Looking forward to being in a National Database (note sarcasm).

Me--retired USAF Security Forces (20 years), then various jobs within the DoD as both Civil Service and Contractor.

Thanks for taking the time to read

Tom
