Aloha everyone Let's see, born and raised on Kauai, joined the Navy in 98, got stationed in Washington, bought a Bushmaster and Glock 21 on the same day there (very hassle free gun purchase), got stationed in Oklahoma, bought a Winchester 1300 Police 12ga (even more hassle free), got stationed at Pearl Harbor and now I'm in the Reserves back on Kauai. I hate Hawaii's gun laws btw.

Hi,  new member.  Shot lots of black powder a number of years ago in California.  Moved to Hawaii.  Getting back into shooting with AR15, AK and friends.  Convinced Hawaii's gun laws have encouraged me to buy more weapons just so I don't have to stand in the line at the police station as much.  Looking to learn more from the sages on a2hawaii.

Aloha to all! - Former Marine from Washington state here and now living on the BI the past few years. I never had much interest in firearms after leaving the fleet but after moving here to Hawaii and finding my 2nd amendment rights were being trampled on by the State of Hawaii etc... I decided it was high time to begin exercising that right once again, as well, to help support gaining back our full 2nd amendment rights that we should have equally across the entire nation as is also another guarantee within the Constitution.  Also; I see any infringement on concealed carry to be a direct denial of bearing arms through attempting discouragement via only open carry allowances and or an outright ban on bearing arms. Hawaii firearms legislation is largely in direct violation of the 2nd amendment, no doubt about it.

I grew up in PA hunting and fishing.  Joined the navy stationed at Pearl Harbor, got out and stayed out here.   I enjoy skeet and shooting with HRA and HDF dont get to go enough just too much on my plate with family, work and church.  do get to the range at least once a month.  Just wish there was one closer to central oahu so I don't have to drive so far.

Join the Schofield Rod and Gun Club.  They do a fair amount of skeet at night.  Should work in well with your schedule.

New member here, was into competitive shooting as a teenager, family moved to the UK, now moving to Oahu later this year. Cannot wait to start my collection again, or to even just be able to shoot more than once a year on vacation!

Eightfingers. New member as of ten minutes ago! I'm moving to the B.I. Next year and am looking to see what the laws and requirements on bringing guns into HI. Not sure how to word this in a search. I have a .308 ar and a Ruger .357 mag.and would like to bring them with me. So far what I've found out is they have to be registered as soon as they come into the state. So far as I know ARs are legal in HI as well.
Anything else I need to watch for?
Also would like to know if that gun guy in HPP is till in business?
