Can I submit this next session as to why mag capacity restrictions are dangerous?

No one is coming, it’s up to us.

Legislation should never be about depriving law abiding citizens of something, but rather taking those things away from criminals.

Well done everyone who submitted testimony and showed up for the rally. We forced them to back down which is a huge success, but this is no time to rest and their play might have been (all along) to come out with a ridiculous bill and then scale it back to "only" a mag ban so we feel like we won even though we lost. We did demonstrate the power of numbers, and now is time to keep that momentum going and make sure our friends and neighbors are still on board for the next fire mission.

PRetty much most bills swing for the fences, then get watered down to show they "compromised".  Just like the bump stock OG bill. "Anything that can increase the rate of fire" was removed.

So it's a good thing we lost because we didn't lose as big as we possibly could have?

No wonder this place gets an "A" from Giffords.

"Good job you guys, they only banned x, y, and z this year."

I'd write "death from a thousand cuts", but it's more like 20.

We stopped the worst part but we need to keep people motivated so we can do it again when this thing hits the Senate.  I am super grateful for everyone who took the time and energy to make your voices heard because it means 18 more months with my beloved Saiga-12. If we boost our numbers even more maybe someday we can actually start turning things around and my dream of converting it to an SBS will come true.

This is an endless struggle, but writing emails and making phone calls is a whole lot easier than what our forefathers had to go through to carve out those rights for us in the first place.

Mag caps under the 9th circuit are ILLEGAL. Also Murphy V CNMI (https://law.justia.com/cases/federal/district-courts/mariana-islands/nmidce/1:2014cv00026/4687/109/) says "assault weppin" bans are ILLEGAL.

Rhoads and these other Soros funded scum are traitors, guilty of treason and other federal crimes who have illegally set forth edicts that say Hawaii citizens cannot change, stop or create laws, in violation of the 1A. No letters, testimony or thinking you can vote anymore will change this. They will pass these illegal edicts because Biden recently forced out the honest DOJ staff that busted the local organized crime led by H.P.D. - Kealohas, prosecutor's office and Miske (But they never touched the judicary or Roger Lau of the pros. office.) Write them a heartfelt letter referencing constitutional law, legal precedent and logic detailing how what they are doing is illegal. They need the laugh.

These same "politicians" tried the mag cap ban last time with exemptions for the "film industry members". Why? The Kealohas (HPD) and prosecutor's office were using film industry union crews as "capos" for organized crime for the past 30 years. From "hitman" murderer Ronald Ching to the Miske enterprise, they all were selectively employed by the film industry union to chauffer celebrities and provide "recreation" so local politicos can get out of the local system of corruption. These same scum tried to make it so only our totally not corrupt to the core police and organized crime shooters would have access to semi autos and mags over 5 rounds. Your "voice" and "votes" didn't stop this, an honest local DOJ of Kenji Price and many others did, cracking down on almost a century of corruption.

Waste your time calling them and writing "testimony". They will pass this and send traitors with badges to gun you down for being accused of violating this illegal edict even when you obediently turn in your freedom.

This is day 8 since the bill was "passed, with amendments". When will we get to see the amended version? All that exists on the .gov website is the original. Asking for a friend.  :shaka:

It has not been scheduled yet. And the amendments have not been posted yet either. It was just a verbal to remove the semi auto section. Same with SB307. No updates yet.
