I'll start fully writing out that I am wrong, when others do the same.  Including yourself.

But yes I miswrote the sentence,  it ment to say I completed the task from OP.

"ment"?

See why you are despised. You say you are wrong based on the condition that everyone else was wrong. So full of it.

"ment"?

"lol" is the new "My mistake."

Synonyms.

the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

i can see how easily you "miswrote" 'submitted opposition' instead of 'completed the task'
they are just a few keystrokes different...

Yes, I wrote an incorrect statement,  sorry.

Here is a fixed statement:

I have completed OP's request for testimonies.

Not a backhanded statement but:

I have completed OP's request for testimonies. Glad we can unite on something regardless of politics, religion, ethics, etc.

Children, could you please stop your pointless bickering in threads that actually matter.

 :stopjack:

We need everyone on 2A Hawaii, yes I really mean everyone, to submit testimony to block these bills (and pass one) like the Assault Weapons Ban that is being fast tracked through the legislature that would ban all of your AR15's, and pretty much all of your semiautos at that.  We're trying to get 1000 in a week which is a monumental feat, so get your family, friends, and co-workers to do it.  Kids too.

It doesn't take long to testify, 2 minutes on the AWB, 15 minutes if you want to do all of them.  You don't have to write anything technical or lengthy, just a "This bill is unconstitutional" or "I oppose this bill because it would ban the rifles I use for work or for self-defense"  is the minimum you need to write.  You can write more of course.  Deadlines are very short, testimony should be submitted 24 hours before the hearing time if possible.

Also head over the the 2A legal and activism section to learn more about this.

If you need help, I have a weekly webinar to go over how to testify on Zoom and FB.  One is tonight.

Just a quick tip to get more testimony submitted:
I just texted some forum members I recently sold to/bought from the  HIFICO link and got a lot of positive feedback that they will submit their testimony.

Worth a shot, since some people visit the forums infrequently.

Submitted my testimony but now I am thinking I should have put in that I wanted to testify via zoom meeting but too late to change it.

I emailed my representatives and Roves, don't think he will be too happy about whats in my email.

I was trying to think of real world examples to reach these idiots. This is the best I could come up with

"Hawaii has a ban on private citizens from purchasing aerial fireworks and anyone living here doesnt have to look back more than 2 months to see how it is not only completely ignored and unenforced, but has created an enormous rampant black market making criminals willing to break the law very rich in the process and the amount of that contraband entering the state increase every year. "

I am glad that others can clearly see the end result of bad legislation. The entire market for the banned fire arms will be given to the black market on a silver platter. The guns will be: Unlicensed, Unserialised, Untaxed (Federal and State), Unregistered, Untraceable, and Uncontrolled. The best selling rifle in the USA will be banned and the black market will love it.

I also mentioned in my testimony that the criminals will love the fact that a large number of the population will be disarmed. It will be much safer for them to assault people and invade their homes. Criminals are also targeting senior citizens since they appear to be easier targets.
As a senior citizen I may have to carry a fire arm in my own home. How can this be a good thing?
