I was trying to think of real world examples to reach these idiots. This is the best I could come up with

"Hawaii has a ban on private citizens from purchasing aerial fireworks and anyone living here doesnt have to look back more than 2 months to see how it is not only completely ignored and unenforced, but has created an enormous rampant black market making criminals willing to break the law very rich in the process and the amount of that contraband entering the state increase every year. "

When Tyke got loose, HPD didn't have the firepower to stop him.  They had to call local big game hunters. IDK if elephant guns are larger than 50 cal though.

In my opinion, these retards in government are trying to blow smoke up everyone's ass.  They say all this legislation is in the interest of safety and for the good of all.

Bullshit.  They just hate guns.  They just irrationally hate guns.  It's like TDS.  Hate and fear.

For the liberals, the "freedoms" that they want to have all citizens enjoy starts with taking away the very means that keep Americans truly free (the 2a and the right to bear arms).

Without this right, the liberals will be able to "tell" us what "freedoms" to enjoy and also disregard the accountability of serving the people of this Nation for which they have sworn in oath to do.

I am glad that others can clearly see the end result of bad legislation. The entire market for the banned fire arms will be given to the black market on a silver platter. The guns will be: Unlicensed, Unserialised, Untaxed (Federal and State), Unregistered, Untraceable, and Uncontrolled. The best selling rifle in the USA will be banned and the black market will love it.

I also mentioned in my testimony that the criminals will love the fact that a large number of the population will be disarmed. It will be much safer for them to assault people and invade their homes. Criminals are also targeting senior citizens since they appear to be easier targets.
As a senior citizen I may have to carry a fire arm in my own home. How can this be a good thing?

Yeah, as a senior citizen and in light of what happened recently to that elderly couple I have been re-evaluating my home defense plans.  Not much I can do if my wife and I are out and about though.

I guess I could carry small cash and a low-limit credit card in my "robbery" wallet and keep my real wallet up my ass or something.....

We need seniors to zoom testimony.  Testify it's easier for you to use rifles for self-defense.  Why CCW and stand your ground is needed.

I know guys who always have a handgun in arms reach.  So no need to holster, but they do take it to the toilet, kitchen, living room etc...So it's always in their control.

Why do I need a gun?

Because I'm too young to die and too old to take an ass whooping.
The reasonable man adapts himself to the world;
the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

I would expect complete compliance from everyone that has registered their guns.
So then only criminals will have guns.
Some how being called a criminal doesn't seem so bad now does it?
Once everything is a crime, it kind of takes the edge off it.

Submitted and even called, though it seemed odd called Rhoads office to ask that he oppose the bill he introduced :grrr:

And regarding that call... The clerk I spoke with stated (paraphrasing here) they have over 300 testimonials this time so it should pass :wtf: Fingers crossed we'll win this one...

Psy-ops.  Voter suppression...I mean testimony suppression.
No one is coming, it’s up to us.

Legislation should never be about depriving law abiding citizens of something, but rather taking those things away from criminals.

Just curious, what is a bad feature in the eyes of hawaii legislature?

I googled it and it mentioned pistol grip, and telescoping stock in california. Specifically talking bout ar15s.

Safe to assume its the same here?

if those 600 are in Rhoads district he may be in some trouble come election. What we need are large orgs from his district to oppose it.

Mag caps under the 9th circuit are ILLEGAL. Also Murphy V CNMI (https://law.justia.com/cases/federal/district-courts/mariana-islands/nmidce/1:2014cv00026/4687/109/) says "assault weppin" bans are ILLEGAL. Gun registration is ILLEGAL under federal and constitutional law. Some mod here tried to run a line on me saying FOPA didn't cover Hawaii's illegal registration requirements, but that is not what that law says, nor the constitution, which prohibits registries especially of any exercise of constitutionally protected rights. I guess someone wants to stay on the "good" side of HPD's "Secret police" units. (As referenced by federal prosecutors in the Kealoha case.)

Rhoads and these other Soros funded scum are traitors, guilty of treason and other federal crimes who have illegally set forth edicts that say Hawaii citizens cannot change, stop or create laws, in violation of the 1A. No letters, testimony or thinking you can vote anymore will change this. They will pass these illegal edicts because Biden recently forced out the honest DOJ staff that busted the local organized crime led by H.P.D. - Kealohas, prosecutor's office and Miske (But they never touched the judicary or Roger Lau of the pros. office.) Write them a heartfelt letter referencing constitutional law, legal precedent and logic detailing how what they are doing is illegal. They need the laugh.

The police are (REDACTED so I don't offend bootlickers). They will gladly violate your human rights for a paycheck and the ability to be the "chosen ones" to be armed and you disarmed. You will see how much this matters when the crime rate spikes and you get arrested, your property confiscated - including estates, and your children taken for being "potentially violent" which is a term used by HPD in court against low income/resource defendant/victims. Look into the connections between your "representatives" and real estate hustlers.

These same "politicians" tried the mag cap ban last time with exemptions for the "film industry members". Why? The Kealohas (HPD) and prosecutor's office were using film industry union crews as "capos" for organized crime for the past 30 years. From "hitman" murderer Ronald Ching to the Miske enterprise, they all were selectively employed by the film industry union to chauffer celebrities and provide "recreation" so local politicos can get out of the local system of corruption. These same scum tried to make it so only our totally not corrupt to the core police and organized crime shooters would have access to semi autos and mags over 5 rounds. Your "voice" and "votes" didn't stop this, an honest local DOJ of Kenji Price and many others did, cracking down on almost a century of corruption.

I once commuted to work with the ex-police chief of Hawaii county.
He had been fired for corruption and was working for a temp company
as a janitor, obviously not a very good corrupt cop, or he owned the company.
He said "register all your guns, but when you get your confiscation letter,
claim you got drunk and lost them all in a poker game".
Apparently that is more believable to the cops than losing them while fishing.
Prepare for the worst my 2A brothers.
