I banned the BBC years ago from my home. The Chinese are slow to understand Global  liberals.
As far as philosophy goes, I'd much rather deal with an external enemy,
than an internal "Nanny" state government.

Per the article posted, "The commercially funded BBC World News TV channel broadcasts globally in English."

That's all any foreign nation that is not allied or a vassal state of the US empire needs to know.   :closed:

Quote
China's State Film, TV and Radio Administration said that BBC World News
reports about China were found to "seriously violate" broadcast guidelines,
including "the requirement that news should be truthful and fair" and not "harm
China's national interests".

Sounds strangely similar to the rationale used by US Big Tech firms to censor Conservatives and Trump.

Whether it's a government ban, or a private company in support of a political party, censorship based on what the censor decides is the truth is just as evil.
The reasonable man adapts himself to the world;
the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

Here he is....right on time.

So the criteria for what to ban and not ban is if its in English and/or commercially funded?   Wouldn't that virtually ban all news?  Other than commie state news?

there is no evidence of anti-conservative bias in social media, remember?

Unlike your imperial views, programed to all the willing subjects, of the US empire; I am Hawaiian patriot that believes what happens in other countries is not my concern.  As long, as a nation's actions does not infringe, on another country's sovereignty, every nation has the legal right to govern themselves in any way they choose.  If China wants to ban BBC Programming, within their borders, that is their business.

If I am not mistaken, I recall that was one of the core beliefs, of the founding fathers, of the American Republic.

That is not the globalist way, of course.

This imperial policy of dictating how one should live their life or what their government and economy should be, is not the hallmarks that made the American Republic the once most admired nation state on the planet.  Internationally, its now follow the American imperial way of life or be invaded and, domestically, accept the puppet leaders given to you or be branded a domestic insurgent and/or terrorist.

Worse for American patriots, you will have to accept the new American imperial ways of life; where having strong religious faith, practicing traditional family values, and having biologically accurate notions of gender and sexual orientation will apparently no longer be the norm, but often unjustly and summarily criticized, as not being tolerant of others.
