So stupid, ridiculous, and sad all at the same time.

And enraging.  Because a lot of this is plain bullshit.
Sometimes you gotta know when to save your bullets.

There is no incentive to get vaccinated. Still wear masks. Still quarantine if travel. Same thing with people who have recovered. There is no incentive for us to move forward.

Some of his good points aside, what do people think was going to happen. Personally I think this is what happens when you are a 'good citizen' and just obey and not do your own critical thinking. He believes in public school... He got his VAX... He helped let what is come to be now he can't go on vacation... In a way we can be blamed for how things currently are, we didn't offer enough push back.
Now what is his solution? Complain? No I don't have any solution either. None that would be acceptable anyway.
Common sense is dead.

Common sense hasn't been common since Thomas Paine wrote about it in 1776.

The founding fathers predicted this, making statements that our new republic would exist only as long as the people didn't start casting their votes in anticipation of receiving  money from the US Treasury.  You only have to look at the people who voted for Dems in the GA runoffs on the promise of $2000 from Biden to see where we've arrived.

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world;
the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.
-- George Bernard Shaw
