Delete sold threads

Could you delete classified posts that are sold? It looks cluttered with all these closed threads

Actually, the sold threads are a good thing.

It shows what sells and at what price.

It helps people price their guns when they want to sell them.

You do have a point, but here are some threads that are titled "delete" or have the information deleted.  Could the mods delete those?

Once an item is sold the word sold should be placed in the title and post while retaining all the original text so the buyer or seller can refer back later if necessary.  We should adopt some of the other rules from the ar15.com equipment exchange as well

There should be a sub-forum created and move all the "sold" threads in there.  That would be the easiest way to clear the clutter, yet keep the threads available for price check.

They already have that.

Once something is sold, the thread is locked and the color changes to blue, denoting a closed thread.

Check out the "Lock Topic" button at the bottom left corner of the screen on threads that you start in the Classified section.
