kokohead stabber gets to go to school? WTF?

Another example of why Hawaii needs to issue carry permits to its citizens.

How the hell did this guy get acquitted?
Why would the judge let this guy back into the public?  I wonder if that judge can sleep at night knowing that a drug crazed nut is roaming the streets of windward Oahu unsupervised?

He was nutz back then, but now he's better............that's how he got off.  Never mind the permanent injuries to that poor guy.

As far as the judges sleeping well at night........pretty much seems to be the status quo for Hawaii.  Hawaii is a very pro-criminal place.

Was he nuts because he's nuts, or because he was on crystal meth?  I'm short on memory, but I thought the guy was a druggie. If so the insanity plea is just garbage.

Even if the guy is truly insane, his actions, in my view require permanent 'observation' in a facility with limited accesses.

Beat me to it.  I was thinking the exact same thing.

Hopefully he continues to take his medication and doesn't wig out and kill someone in class.

epic fail on the justice system.
I know someone younger that knew the offender. he said it was supposedly acid or another hallucinogenic that set off his instability, not meth.

Either way, i think he should pursue his degree..but do so online, from a mental health facility or jail. Oh and whatever type of job he may get, a large portion of his paychecks should go to the survivors of the attack for the rest of his life.

judge should be fired...the victims suffered, one of them had an aspiration to join the guard, now he can't

This is disgusting.  There is no justice for the victims.

Who is paying for this criminal's college fees?

Sad how these types of cases fall through the cracks so to speak, but when average citizens get into trouble, thats when the judge wants to make an example out of them.
