The reasonable man adapts himself to the world;
the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

My current commute is about 25 yards total from my bed to my living room. . . so. . . No

Wouldn't even get to use it if I was back in the office.  I would get an electric vehicle first. . .

So far the people I talked to about riding the Rail says it's not convenient for them.  The stations are too far away, concerns about their parked vehicles and security at the stations, etc. etc.

Then they calculate actual driving time to and from destinations with their vehicles vs. driving to the park and ride and taking the rail.  They said Nah.....

The attitude is "Let the other guys take the rail".

With that mentality the only ones that would ride the rail would be the mentally disturbed and the homeless.  Sometimes they are one and the same.....Imagine the freeways and highways all gridlocked while the train passes above.

Basically empty
Sometimes you gotta know when to save your bullets.

Works pretty good, I can get from Uptown to Downtown in a couple of minutes for only a buck!

That's what I figured, because I know it was supposed to be done a few years ago for a few billion less than the later estimates. Why all the derision re my question from the other commenters? It looks really nice. I'm thinking of flying over there just to take a ride. I want to take part in one of the few things the Hawaii government has ever done that has turned out to be the huge benefit for the public, at very reasonable cost, that they claimed it would be. Are Ige and the mayor on there frequently and willing to sign autographs? I'd like to thank them for their leadership and follow through on this project...under some politicians this could have turned into a long-delayed heavily-cost-overrun debacle.

I use my electric car that has zero emissions and is used so I replaced the battery.  This way I do not add to pollution by buying  a brand new EV. I drive this car to the parking lot of the hub.  I then catch the rail while wearing clothes that I made by sheering a sheep and making twine with the wool.  I sheer the sheep with a  razor sharp rock so I do not use a buzzer which is made by man and causes pollution.  I do not wear any soles on my feet because the by product causes pollution and I cannot find a Ho Chi Min man to make me a pair of Ho Chi Min slippers.

Once I get off the rail stop, I then disregard all pedestrian signs because those are made from man and cause pollution to make.  So I do not entertain the usage of them.

It’s the people mover at Pearl Ridge which goes from one part of the mall to the other. Or something like that.
