People need to collectively stop using the big tech SM platforms and find alternative means of communicating.  At least have a backup method. 

IMO, its a lazy excuse if social media is the only way people can keep in touch with family and friends.

The other issue is many conservative platforms use FB/IG/Twitter as well to spread info. Big tech holds a monopoly on social media platforms.  I heard about this via PV's IG page.

So will Twitter now lose their best of both worlds protection as a publisher and platform?  I doubt it.
