Funny, since his staff's first excuse was they didn't want the numbers to be used against Cuomo politically.  in other words, they lied, but they have a bunch of reasons for covering up the truth AND then covering up the fact they lied.

In the middle of a pandemic, when people were terrified of the unknown, lying about the things we did know at the time is the worst choice to make.

Now, the gov't doesn't want to admit the vaccine means you don't have to wear masks because they can't enforce mask mandates without knowing who is vaccinated and who isn't.

Basically, the gov't doesn't trust us, so they make it impossible for us to trust them. too.
