I think you meant "Angry", that was common in Liberal WA state in the 80's and 90's when we were raising kids.
I saw families destroyed and kids later recanted, but the damage had been done, jobs lost, reputations forever damaged.
so this is not new.
I knew a girl in college, she was very sweet and naive but had a nutty vibe, one of those chicks you kinda knew was a bad idea to date because you could tell she might get hysterical if you didnt ask her out a second time.
Fast forward a couple years and I see her on the local news, she turned in her parents for running a 'puppy mill', police raided the property, huge hubbub, humane society, court dates, etc etc.
After a year plus in court, It eventually turned out her parents were just normal dog breeders, but didnt check every single box on how they ran their business. They got a few hundred dollars fines, but the business was destroyed, all the animals seized and never returned.
A couple years later saw the girl again on the news for some radical vegan PETA protest thing screaming and frothing and spitting on police.
Weaponizing emotionally fragile people to be foot soldiers for radical ideas is pretty sad and scary to watch.
