They obviously were using violence to break into government property.  They obviously were trying to coerce or to intimidate government that "Trump Won"  which is not true.  Their goals were  generally political, religious, or ideological.

This is the way I look at the event.  This building is supposed to be a very secure building.  I find it hard to believe that the entrance doors have just a simple deadbolt type of lock on them.  I'm going to also assume they're built to withstand a battering ram and like type of breaching tools. Same goes with the windows. They're probably not single plain, non safety glass type of glass that is easily breakable.

So how can people with zero tools breach a closed, locked door?  Or what is more plausible and shown on many videos that they were let in at some point.  Yes, maybe at first they were not, but eventually vids showed them walking right past uniformed officers at the entrance.

Then you have the vid of Ashli getting shot.  1 could have easily punched her in the face as she tried to jump up and squeeze thru a narrow broken glass portion of a door.  I mean, antifa throws explosives/unknown liquids at cops on a regular basis and none are shot.  So we see the bias toward conservatives that apparently don't exist either physically or on social media.

Its quite simple like I said previously.  They warned her that crossing that line would get her shot because there were Government officials behind,  she crossed it.  She got shot. 

If you breached the Whitehouse, similar would happen. 

If you breached a military base,  same.

etc, etc, etc.
