A Korean veteran shooter told reporters this week that having an Iranian athlete accused of being a terrorist compete at the Tokyo Games is “absurd and ridiculous,” adding pressure on the International Olympic Committee to investigate the allegations.
International critics have accused Javad Foroughi, who won gold in the 10-meter pistol on Saturday, of being a member of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, a powerful paramilitary organization considered by the United States as a terrorist group. The IOC has challenged critics to show proof of his alleged ties to the IRGC, but it’s still unclear if any such evidence would surface.

dealing with recoil.  That is an acquired skill.
How well can you shoot 100 rounds of a 454 Causall?

(950 FPS) as regular 22 cal ammunition.

Had a documentry on the Barrett 50 cal on the history channel.  They mentioned that even the snipers training on them are limited to the # of rounds they fire a day.  They never said what that # is though.

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) in Washington, D.C. told The Hill that Officer Gunther Hashida died by suicide. He was found dead on Thursday in his home.
"We are grieving as a Department as our thoughts and prayers are with Officer Hashida's family and friends," MPD wrote in a statement.

Hashida was part of the Emergency Response Team within the Special Operations Division, MPD said.

Although Germany eased restriction in May and cases remain low, many activities such as indoor dining or staying in a hotel require proof that an individual is either fully vaccinated, has recovered from the virus or can show proof of a recent negative coronavirus test, according to the Associated Press

Cops are a necessary evil.
Most of what they do is collect revenue for the Democrats eg speeding tickets.
They know they are hated and despised.
They know they cannot protect you, only clean up and document the mess afterwards.
They also attract power hungry nut cases, "ask, tell, force",
they get to force really fast, as they have guns and get a paid vacation when they use it.
It does not surprise me that they are also so selfish as to commit suicide
to get out of their self made hell.
Guilt and shame is a hard thing to live with, if you are a normal human.
Guilt and shame is pretty easy if you are a sociopath Democrat union member.

DC Police Confirm 4th Suicide Among Officers Defending Capitol Jan. 6

Four police officers who responded to the Jan. 6 Capitol attack have died by suicide, the Washington D.C.'s CBS affiliate reported Monday night.
D.C. Metropolitan Police officer Kyle DeFreytag was found dead on July 10, WUSA reported. He joined the department in 2016 and served in the city's 5th District.
DeFreytag's death marks four suicides by officers who responded to the Jan. 6 assault on the Capitol.

Confirmation of DeFreytag's death came hours after the department announced Gunther Hashida, 43, was found dead in his home on Thursday.
Metropolitan Police officer Jeffrey Smith, 35, and Capitol Police officer Howard Liebengood, 51, took their own lives in the days after the assault.
Last week, four police officers who responded to the violence detailed their experiences in testimony before the House select committee investigating the events surrounding the Jan. 6 assault.
